Good Golf course hilly in places enjoy and keep fit at the same time.
Went there for Sunday lunch. It was really good. The dining room was nicely laid out with white paper tablecloths and three courses of cutlery. There was a lovely ambience in the dining room which benefited from soothing background music from the 70s. The potato and leek soup was nice, the main course had choice of meats which you could mix to have more than one. Veg consisted of boiled and mashed potato, swede, cabbage, carrots and peas. Yorkshire pud, roast potato and stuffing were on the plate with your chosen meat(s). Wide choice of Desserts. The lemon, coconut and mango cheesecake was absolutely delicious. The waiting staff were attentive, efficient and very pleasant.The only issue I have is parking. As it is a golf club the golfers were out in force and the car park was choc a block. A bigger car park is desperately needed. Other than this a very nice place to visit.
